Have your say

THE Co-operative wants people to stand for election on its Solent board.

The organisation is calling for people to put themselves forward to have a say as a member of the Solent area committee.

The chain is owned by people who trade with it, and the firm says members can provide invaluable insight into how it can help a community.

There are four positions on the Solent committee and any member of the Co-operative is eligible, as long as you visited the shop in the past year and have 250 member points. Any elected members will be paid for attendance at monthly meetings. Nominations close on Monday, May 13. E-mail
