Stationer looks for firms to share its shop floors
A LARGE stationery store is under review from the company that owns it.
The Office Outlet - formerly known as Staples – is looking for other retailers to rent space in its stores, including the one in Burrfield Road, Portsmouth.
A spokesperson from the firm, owned by Hilco, said: ‘Office Outlet can confirm that certain parts of its 35 stores are due to be sublet. Like all retailers, the business will be constantly reviewing its portfolio of stores to ensure the maximum amount of footfall and will update on any progress as it develops.’
The Fareham store is expected to close in May.
