A STREET in Chichester has fallen into one of the top 50 priciest roads in England and Wales, according to research.
Properties in West Strand Chichester, West Sussex, cost an average of £2.6m.
It is the 45th most expensive street within England and Wales.
The most expensive street is Grosvenor Crescent in Westminster, Greater London, where the average grade II-listed property costs £16,918,000. It is followed by Eaton Square, also in Westminster.
The research was carried out by Lloyds Bank.
Andy Hulme, mortgages director at Lloyds Bank, said: ‘London dominates the list of the most expensive residential addresses in England and Wales.
‘For the first time since this survey began, there are three streets with an average property price of over £10m.’
