LOCKS Heath Shopping Village is hosting a day of fun with a summer party extravaganza.

On Saturday, July 26 local groups will showcase their talents.

Between 11am and 4pm, solo singers to fitness classes and dog shows to dancers will have something for everyone.

Acts will include the Better Body Club, The Laura Dunkley School of Dance and Performing Arts and a street dance performance group.

Combining fun with fitness, the groups are sure to inspire everyone to get active with fun filled exercises.

The summer party will feature the Gillie’s Leap Fun Dog Show, run by animal behaviourist Andy Collins.

The dog show takes place from 1.30pm until 4pm and will be open to all visitors and their furry friends.

Those looking to enter the event need only make a £1.50 donation, of which all proceeds go towards the Greyhound Rescue West of England charity.

Centre manager Ian Goodridge said: ‘We can’t wait to see all of the groups involved with our summer celebrations perform.

‘Following the success of our previous event last summer, when the shopping village celebrated its 30th birthday, we wanted to throw another party with even more entertainment. It’s set to be a great day for everyone involved.’
