Supermarket joy for dairy

A DAIRY in Wickham has been awarded a contract to supply fresh milk and cream to a major supermarket.

The contract, which will start from July 2017, will see Medina Dairy process fresh milk and cream at its Watsons Dairy for supply to selected Sainsbury’s stores in the south.

Chief executive Sheazad Hussain said: ‘Medina Dairy’s vision is to increase our presence in the larger UK retail and food service market including the national multiples. We are therefore delighted to have been selected by Sainsbury’s to supply them with fresh milk and cream from our Watsons dairy.
