A BUSINESS park has spent £50,000 tearing down a barrier that divided it from the rest of the area.

The barrier, which separated Penner Road from Langstone Technology Park, has never been lifted, despite it being initially installed to be able to do so.

As previously reported, the park has laid on a complementary bus for Broadmarsh employees, and the lifting of the barrier means the bus can access more businesses.

Gary Medlow, of Fasset, which manages the technology park, said: ‘This bus is a crucial link in building a sustainable supply chain along
with infrastructure, employment and economic opportunities.

The Broadmarsh business community is going from strength to strength and opening up this bus gate is further enabling this network to thrive.’
