A VITAL machine has been given a modern update after 30 years in service.

Fareham manufacturer VRS Precision Engineering has replaced its twin pallet milling machine – a cutting device – which dwarfs the previous Makino machine.

Will Collins, production manager, said: ‘Its capabilities are exceptional I’ve rarely come across such an amazing machining tool, but keeping pace with cutting-edge technology is key in this industry and it’s something VRS is good at.’
