Three firms – including Just develop It in Fareham – named as finalists for top award

THREE companies have been named finalists by accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP for a top award.

BDO’s annual Central South Mid Market campaign, which celebrates mid-sized companies with turnovers between £10m and £300m, has named Southampton-based car retailer Imperial Cars, investment business Just Develop It in Fareham, and airline consumable provider PDQ Airspares, in Fordingbridge as finalists for its Central South Company of the Year title.

The finalists were selected from 40 companies identified over the last year.

They were picked for being the leading mid-market businesses in terms of overall performance or international activity.

Malcolm Thixton, lead partner at BDO Southampton, said: ‘Operating in very different sectors our finalists this year typify the huge diversity of businesses in this region - a key factor in its enduring resilience over the last decade which we believe leaves it strongly placed to tackle whatever happens in the next few years.’

The winner will be announced alongside the Central South Mid Market FD of the Year at a gala dinner at the Hilton at the Ageas on Wednesday, May 22.
