Three new recruits at web development firm

The new staff at Radweb, in Northarbour Road, North Harbour, have been hired to accelerate product development and expand its software to cope with increased client demand.

Radweb director James Taylor said: ‘I and managing director Steve Rad both graduated from the University of Portsmouth and set up Radweb in 2007.

‘Nurturing young talent gives us the chance to utilise graduates who are fresh, eager to learn and develop new skills.’

The new recruits will be providing technological excellence in website development and digital marketing.

They will be developing Radweb’s property inventory software brand InventoryBase, which it launched in the US and South Africa as PropertyInspect.

New starter Louis Capitanchik, 21, said: ‘I was freelancing following my software engineering course at Portsmouth university but I’m glad I made the permanent move to Radweb, as the office environment is great.

‘The company is pioneering new technology and I love to be a part of that.’

Chris Aubert, 20, graduate from University of Portsmouth, says he has relished the opportunity to work with a number of different products.

He said: ‘Radweb’s culture allows for creativity and innovation. In this industry it’s great that I get the chance to indulge in those things.’

Alex Potter, 23, said: ‘Working at Radweb appealed to me to have the opportunity to learn new technologies which are not taught at university. I’m now in an environment where I don’t stop learning and hard work is rewarded.’
