A NEW restaurant manager and head chef have taken the helm at a Gunwharf Quays venue.
Craig McCloud, 33, and Rafal Stempin, 32, have been employed at Tiger Tiger at Gunwharf Quays.
Mr McCloud is the new restaurant manager while Mr Stempin is the new head chef – and there is a new menu as well.
Mr McCloud said: ‘I feel this role is culmination of all my experience to date. To have the setting in such as prime spot, with the flexibility of working alongside five bars and a club all under one roof, gives incredible scope and flexibility for what we can offer. It is also exciting to be part of the biggest management team I have experienced to date.’
Head chef Mr Stempin, who now manages a team of five chefs and two kitchen porters, said: ‘We have just launched a brand new menu, which I saw being developed whilst in London. From burgers and steaks, to scallop and chorizo skewers and asparagus and garden pea girasole pasta, there is something for everyone.’
‘This really is the most exciting time our restaurant has ever had,’ says General Manager, Dan Swan. ‘We have installed a new bar inside the restaurant, updated the furnishings and introduced 50% off for Wednesday and Friday nights, and throughout January next year. Add to that the expertise and experience of Craig and Rafal, and there really will be no stopping us.’
