A SOLICITOR has won national acclaim after being recognised by his clients.

Christopher Matthews, of Churchers Bolitho Way, in Lee-on-the-Solent, won the Top Rated award from – a website that allows clients to rate their solicitors.

Mr Matthews, a solicitor for seven years, has appeared in The Times newspaper.

He said: ‘There are thousands of solicitors in the UK so to be amongst the top rated is a real achievement. 

‘What makes it even more special is that I’ve been selected as a result of support from my clients. 

‘It means a lot that they’ve gone out of their way to help me to get this commendation and I’d like to thank them all.’

The firm is also celebrating as Colin Mackay was awarded Legal Aid Lawyer of 2013.

Mr Matthews added: ‘Client testimonials are an important vehicle when it comes to establishing trust.’
