A GRADUATE surveyor is building his career after becoming professionally qualified.

Bruce Scott, of Portsmouth, has become a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) after successfully passing his final Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

He joins the ranks of RICS professionals at 24-strong McAndrew Martin and follows in the footsteps of chartered surveyor Lee Sargeant who started at the firm as a trainee and passed through the company’s exacting training programme.

Bruce said: ‘Becoming a Member of RICS has been a long-held career goal for me.

‘I’m delighted to have passed. I’m looking forward to the next phase of my career with McAndrew Martin, and to playing an active part in the company’s future success.’

The firm’s clients include the MOD and a number of universities.
