ALE lovers are in for a treat when a beer festival comes to Fareham.
More than 12 different real ales will go through the taps at The Limes pub, in Catisfield Lane on February 11 and 12.
The winter beer festival was first introduced at the local last year to mark landlady Darryl Downes’ 25th year in charge.
Proceeds from the two-day event will go towards Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Last year’s beer bash raised £500 for the charity.
A pub quiz before Christmas and extra donations from customers helped to raise an extra £500.
Miss Downes said: ‘The beer festival went down so well last year so I knew I had to put on another one.
‘I’m looking forward to it. The atmosphere should be great.’
