A BUSINESS unit in Gosport has been sold to a trust fund for £1.7m.

Apex House, in Lederle Lane, was sold by Lambert Smith Hampton on behalf of the Glenmore Group.

The building is let to marine safety company, Survitech Group Ltd, with a rent of £147,000 per year, until 2022.

A number of competing bids were considered before the sale was agreed with the fund, a client of commercial property firm Vail Williams, which is based in Portsmouth.
