Owner Ed Collison says the refurbishment is a testament to the support of Emsworth residents.

He said: ‘Things got to a point where we couldn’t expand the business any further.

‘We have had some fantastic support from people in the local community and so wanted to expand the premises for them.

‘The kitchen has been moved and we have built another room for customers.

‘The kitchen is now custom-built for the fish menu we have.

‘We can now seat 120 people and have disabled facilities, such as disabled parking and a lift.

‘We’ve also had a great interior designer come along and renovate the inside – and everyone is really pleased with how it looks.

Ed prides himself on making the most of locally sourced food and drink, saying that everyone in the town supports one another’s businesses.

He said: ‘I think it is really important to support other local businesses – we use locally sourced fish for our menu as well as local drinks for the bar.

‘There is a great community feel here in Emsworth, which is part of the reason why I wanted a restaurant here.

‘The support from everyone has been overwhelming – and to have such an amazing team behind me makes everything so much easier.’

Ed says he feel privileged to be in his current situation.

He said: ‘I feel very blessed to be where I am today.

‘Running a restaurant certainly isn’t without its challenges, but to serve food to people in Emsworth is absolutely worth it.’
