Loretta Coffee Bar on High Street, Emsworth

Loretta Gallagher has put Emsworth's Loretta Coffee Bar on the market as she gets ready to hand the business, which has an authentic, Italian atmosphere, over to someone else.

An asking price of £149,000 is being sought for the leasehold interest.

Loretta said: '˜I have loved every minute of the past 18 years running Loretta Coffee Bar and I'm very proud of everything I have accomplished, but it is now time to retire.

'˜I will be sorry to say goodbye to the many regulars I have got to know over the years, but I know that a new and exciting chapter lies ahead for my business with its next owner.'

The cafe, on High Street in Emsworth's town centre, has been brought to the market through specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.

The company said the coffee bar comprises a large trading area on the ground floor with seating for 18 covers and a further four externally.

It sells several products, including greeting cards and newspapers, as well as Italian food and drinks. There is also an office space and kitchenette at the back of the property.

Christie & Co said the store has high levels of passing trade and presents the opportunity to further increase trade by broadening the range of food and beverages offered.

Tom Glanvill, senior business agent at Christie & Co's Winchester office, is handling the sale and said: '˜Loretta Coffee Bar is charming and profitable in equal measures.

'˜It's a fabulous lifestyle business in a pleasant coastal town with huge potential and a strong and loyal customer base. Who doesn't love a quirky independent coffee bar?'
