THOSE who have taken part in the Year In Industry programme at any point in the past 25 years are being asked to share in the programme’s silver jubilee celebrations.

Around 12,000 students have been through the programme, and now the education charity EDT is looking to find as many of them as possible.

Chris Ward, national director for the YII programme, said: ‘Portsmouth has a long association with the Year in Industry, particularly through companies such as Pall Corporation and BAE Systems.

‘It is quite likely that those who went through the programme have maintained their connection with the area.

‘We want to find out what they are doing now and to keep in touch with them in future through a new alumni programme.’

Alumni should contact EDT on 01707 871520 or email
