Book up for top award
A PORTSMOUTH University professor has seen her book shortlisted for a nationally acclaimed award.Â
The book, entitled I deal Homes 1918 to 39  has been nominated for the Alice Davis  Hitchcock Memorial Medallion for '˜outstanding contribution to architectural history'.
In the book, rofessor Deborah Sugg Ryan investigates the house building boom of the interwar years and how these houses are used today  Â
Professor Sugg Ryan said: '˜This book is the culmination of over a decade of research. I am thrilled to have been nominated for the award.'
