Double celebration at junior school in North End
Lyndhurst Junior School, in North End, is the latest school to join the KGA, whose chairman is Portsmouth-born Sir Roger Fry.
Sir Roger said: ‘I am absolutely delighted that Lyndhurst Junior School Academy is joining our multi-academy trust. I have been so impressed by the staff at the school and the lovely pupils.’

Hide AdThe children helped prepare an afternoon tea to welcome Sir Roger on April 21, the Queen’s birthday.
Headteacher Margaret Beel said: ‘The expertise that KGA can bring to LJSA will help us achieve outstanding Ofsted status.
‘However, I am equally excited by the wonderful learning opportunities we will have access to by joining the King’s family of schools in Spain and South America.’
KGA operates seven British schools educating more than 4,500 students.
