Gosport design student has project shown at London exhibition
A UNIVERSITY student from Gosport has seen her final-year project go on display at an exhibition.
Designer Amberley Colburn, who attends Brunel University London, did her project on talking about menstruation with teen and pre-teen girls. It was shown at the Made in Brunel exhibition at the Oxo Tower Wharf, in London.
The former Bay House School pupil, aged 22, said: ‘The education about menstruation in schools is inadequate and often too late.
‘My project aims to improve education with a deck of interactive information cards.’
Amberley will continue developing the project with hopes to getting the guide on the market.
