High expectations as primary school joins academy trust
Rowner Junior School in Tichbourne Way has now joined the Gosport and Fareham Multi-Academy Trust (GFM).
The partnership, which launched in April 2017, aims to create an education system tailored to the schools in the area, to set up pupils for the future.

Hide AdAt an official launch day, headteacher Kerry Payne explained why the school was looking forward to working alongside other the schools in the the partnership '“Â which includes neighbouring schools Bay House, Brune Park and Gomer Junior.
Ms Payne said: '˜We have been working with the GFM for over a year and are now thrilled to be formally part of the family.
'˜In such a short space of time the GFM have ensured that we have had development to our site.
'˜This is going to contribute to the sound working environment needed by our children.

Hide Ad'˜The GFM is very committed to its learners and staff and Rowner Junior anticipate that they will do very well as a community working within the GFM.'
Chief executive of the trust and headteacher of Bay House School, Ian Potter, said: '˜I have been impressed with how proud the children are of their school and their eagerness to learn.'
