Portsmouth secondary school closed because of '˜no heating or hot water'

BOSSES have closed a city secondary school because there is no heating or hot water.

St Edmund’s Catholic School in Arundel Street will be closed today for all pupils in Years 7 to 10.

A message posted to the school’s website says: ‘Due to no heating or hot water in the main school building the school is closed today for all Year 7 to 10 students.

‘The school will remain open for all Year 11 students.

‘Apologies for any inconvenience.’
