Praise for children who walked to school

MORE than 5,000 pupils from almost 200 different classes in Portsmouth joined in with Walk to School Week.

The event was held last week and was run by walking charity Living Streets.

Chief executive Joe Irwin said: ‘We’d like to thank everyone in Portsmouth who contributed to making it a success.
