Gatcombe Park Primary came out as the Portsmouth’s best achievers as 79 per cent of its students met the expected targets.
Proud headteacher Ian Baker said: ‘I am very happy to put our success down to the hard work of the staff in the school, supporting children through a challenging new curriculum, and all the hard work of my pupils who rose to the challenge.
‘Going forward, we are really confident that teachers and children are working hard to ensure these results get even better.’
