Southsea college gears up for Spanish celebration

A SOUHSEA school is to be injected with a dose of Spanish culture.

Junior pupils at St John’s College will celebrate Spain and everything it has to offer on Tuesday.

To mark the day, children will come to school wearing red and yellow – the colours of the Spanish flag. Designed by Spanish teacher Isabel Ramallal, the special occasion ties in with ‘Día de la Hispanidad’ or the National Day of Spain, which is traditionally celebrated on October 12, the day after. During the morning, assembly children will take part in hands-on workshops to discover more.
