The Rose Road Association supports children with complex disabilities from across the area – providing carers, outreach workers, play scheme activities and short breaks for families.

Fundraisers have organised a ball to raise money for the charity at the Marriott Hotel, in North Harbour, on April 15.

Tickets include a drinks reception on arrival, three-course meal and entertainment from popular covers band Kojak’s Revenge.

The event is sponsored by local businesses Wild Recruitment and TJ Waste and Recycling.

The Rose Road Association has been working across Hampshire since 1952 and it is providing a new community-based support service in Portsmouth.

Organiser Dawn Ingram said: ‘We are very excited to arrive in Portsmouth in 2016 as the demand for our services is growing. With the support of Wild Recruitment and TJ Waste and Recycling, as well as our new print partners Diguru, we have already sold over half the tickets available so don’t miss out.’
