Student on short-list
A STUDENT was short-listed in a national award scheme for his vocational excellence.
Ben Jackson, from Portsmouth College, who won a News Youth Award in June, was a finalist in the Outstanding Student of the Year category at the BTEC Awards 2016.
He has been composing music on his keyboard from a young age and said he was proud to have been considered for the accolade.
