Students learn with Google in classroom

Havant Sixth Form College has embraced modern technology by launching its pioneering Google Classroom.

The Google Apps for Education is a scheme which enables students to share and learn interactively, anytime, anywhere and using any device.

Recently, the college hosted a meeting with Havant MP Alan Mak and headteachers from the Havant Federation to give insight into the innovative programme.

Mr Mak said: ‘Ensuring local students have the best start in life is one of my top priorities.

‘The college have launched a pioneering technology plan using Google Apps for Education.

‘Innovative technology like Chromebooks can help students in and out of the classroom, and I look forward to developing this exciting venture in the months.’

The College anticipates that this innovation will be a change in how students learn in the future.

They will be hosting a launch event at the college on Friday, September 2.
