The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre in Havant is hosting lots of creative events during half-term for the whole family.

Youngsters have enjoyed two interactive events where they brought puppet monsters to life with live storytelling.

And there is still more fun to be had.

Staff at The Spring have created 1,000 free craft packs that are available from community and children’s centres and libraries across Havant and Waterlooville.

The packs are easy to use and contain the materials and simple instructions to make a cute mini-monster at home.

There is also a Monster Museum Trail which encourages families to explore The Spring’s museum, in East Street, meet a special furry visitor and make some monster crafts.

It is £5 per child and is on until Friday.

On Saturday The Spring is hosting two performances of My Pet Monster and Me, a family show that stars the most lovable monster in the land.
