'Selfish': How Facebook reacted to huge crowds outside Portsmouth's Astoria nightclub
OPINIONS have been divided after footage emerged showing huge crowds huddled together outside a city nightclub.
The video shows hundreds queuing to get into Astoria in Guildhall Walk.
In the footage, which was recorded on Tuesday night and shared on Facebook, shows the line stretching back from the nightclub entrance and along Winston Churchill Avenue, near to the Portsmouth Crown Court.
Readers on The News Facebook page were divided over the scenes, here’s how people reacted:
Maisie Sealey said: ‘When will people learn. And they will probably be the people who complain about the new restrictions whilst poor people who have been following rules all along will be suffering the consequences of their actions. Selfish.’
Stew Taylor added: ‘Why on earth is this being allowed to happen?’
