This is what it will look like when you go to get your vaccine in Portsmouth

The mass vaccination centre has finally opened in Portsmouth this week.

Friday, 5th February 2021, 7:11 pm

The site is at St James’ Hospital in Milton and will administer up to 1,000 jabs a day – meaning if you live in and around the city you are likely to pay a visit to it at some point.

We have pulled together a gallery to show you want to experience will be like going for your vaccination, just in case you want to know what to expect.

The NHS staff will be backed up each week by 334 volunteers from the Hive, Royal Navy personnel and Portsmouth’s street pastors.

Volunteers have been recruited to provide support and direct people through the process of getting their AstraZeneca jab.

The vaccination centre on the St James’ Hospital site can be accessed via the main entrance on Locksway Road. Marshals will be on hand to direct traffic.

There is disabled parking available at the front of the centre.
