Fashion for charity
A FASHION show held by Portsmouth Hospitals Charity raised more than Â£1,000.
The sell-out eventÂ at the Village Hotel, saw guests marvel at the outfits modelled by volunteers before making their purchases after an hour's shopping '“Â with the hospital charity getting 10 per cent of sales.
Free goodies and prizes were handed out following a raffle, while people could treat themselves to hair and make-up gifts.Â Pip Cowen, fundraising assistant, said: '˜We raised Â£1,274 which is more than we hoped for.
'˜The money will help all departments with equipment, facilities and courses which will all improve patient care.'
