Feedback wanted on community beds Havant, Fareham and Gosport

VIEWS are wanted on the use of community beds at facilities across the area.

People are being encouraged to complete a survey about the community beds used by NHS Fareham & Gosport and South Eastern Hampshire clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) and Hampshire County Council.

Currently, there are 136 beds providing care in various places across the area including nursing homes and community hospitals.

Many of the beds are used for the elderly and frail or people with a disability who are unable to go home immediately after a stay in hospital.

Feedback will help the CCGs and council ensure they have the right number of beds in the right locations to meet local needs.

In Fareham and Gosport, beds are provided at Gosport War Memorial Hospital, Sarisbury Green-based Hawthorne Court Nursing Home, and Cams Ridge and Carleen Nursing Home which are both in Fareham.

In the South Eastern Hampshire CCG area, beds are at Edenvale Nursing Home in Waterlooville, Emsworth House Nursing Home and Bedhampton Nursing Home.

The deadline for the survey ends on February 22. To complete it visit surveymonkey.com/r/SBSDQW3
