'˜They liked meeting the Stormtrooper and playing on the inflatables.'

All money raised from the fair will go towards the Children's Bubble Fund which supports projects for the paediatric department.

Victoria Greenshields, fundraising manager, said: '˜It is lovely to see so many families from the community come along. I have also seen patients from the hospital come down to enjoy some of the activities.'

The charity is hoping to beat last year's fundraising total of £4,000.
