Glass panel smashes at entrance to Queen Alexandra Hospital in PortsmouthÂ
A GLASS panel over one of the entrances to the city's hospital has smashed.
The pane of glass smashed onto the floor outside the north entrance to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham yesterday.
It is unknown what caused the glass panel to break.
A spokesperson for the hospital said: '˜Everything has been fixed as much as it can be and the entrance is usable.
'˜It is unknown why the glass broke at this stage.'
