Gosport War Memorial Hospital death: Families hand in petition signed by more than 100,000 demanding criminal prosecutions
AÂ PETITIONÂ calling for the prime minister to support families who lost loved ones at Gosport War Memorial Hospital has been handed to Downing Street.
Bridget Devine-Reeves, whose 88-year-old grandmother Elsie Devine died at the hospital, said it was a huge moment for victims who died between 1989 and 2001.
The 42-year-old said: 'This is a massive moment. It is remarkable that we got the public support for me to do this today.
'We want Theresa May to support us and listen to our calls for justice and criminal  proceedings.'
As previously reported the Gosport Independent Panel found 456 patients at the hospital on Bury Road had their lives shortened by being given opioids without medical justification.
