Hayling Island care home praised in CQC report

A HOME which cares for people with dementia has been rated '˜good' by the Care Quality Commission.

Saltmarsh House, in Hayling Island, had an unannounced visit by the health watchdog and a report published this month shows it was ‘good’ in all five areas looked at.

The care home, on Saltmarsh Lane, was given the second-highest rating for it being safe, well-led, effective, caring and responsive.

‘People were able to take part in decisions about their care and support and their views were listened to.
