Meeting on future of GP services in Fareham, Gosport and Havant areas

AN UPDATE on plans to help transform GP services across the area will be given to a public meeting tomorrow.

Keeley Ellis, head of primary care for Fareham and Gosport and South Eastern Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group, will talk on local implementation of the General Practice Forward View across the area.

Published in April last year, the GP Forward View commits to an extra £2.4bn nationally a year to support general practice services by 2020/21. It aims to improve patient care and access, and invest in new ways of providing care.

Mrs Ellis is giving a presentation to the Primary Care Commissioning Committee which meets at the CommCen Building, Fort Southwick, on James Callaghan Drive. It is between 2pm and 3.30pm.
