The most Googled health symptoms in Portsmouth have been revealed - here's the breakdown

But one firm has now gone to the effort of scouring Google trends to find what symptoms and illnesses people in Portsmouth search for the most.

The data from Canabiotics, a London hemp manufacturer, breaks down the average monthly search rate for 22 different health woes.

Portsmouth was included among 15 major UK cities analysed as part of the investigation.

Topping the list of Portsmouth’s most Googled illnesses was constipation, which racked up 230 of the 2,415 searches that were tracked.

Migraine (224), a sore throat (176) and flu (156) were the next most common terms, with muscle pain ranking the lowest at 14 searches.

Constipation was also the most Googled illness in Birmingham, Liverpool, Sheffield and Southampton.

Meanwhile it was hay fever Londoners appeared to care about the most. The term made up 9.4 per cent of the capital's Googled terms.
