Night will raise cash to thank hospital

The night will take place at Alverbank Country Hotel, in Stokes Bay Road, Alverstoke, tomorrow to raise money for the cardiac unit of Southampton General Hospital.

Mediums Andy Ford, Mick Blacker, Ruth James, Craig Morris and Leanne George will take to the stage.

Organiser Penny Dimmick said: ‘Having undergone heart surgery at the Spire Hospital in Southampton on the NHS in May 2015, I promised the amazing staff that I would attempt to raise some money in order to contribute to the cost of a new much-needed ECG machine as the NHS provides them basic equipment only.

‘I received the best of the NHS from the amazing team of medical staff who save lives on a daily basis without thinking of themselves.’
