‘It’s really nice to know my work is appreciated and I feel quite proud. I always feel that I try to put 110 per cent into everything I do.’

As well as caring for patients, relatives and colleagues, dedicated Mandy has championed the provision of safer, more comfortable chairs for patients having dialysis.

She said ‘Our patients have a chronic condition and have to come for dialysis three times a week, every week. We get to know them and their families well.
