People take part in Southsea walk for stroke charity
People dressed in purple to fundraise for the Stroke Association by walking around Canoe Lake, in Southsea.
The annual event sees people who have been affected by stroke around the country take part in the charity’s Step Our for Stroke event.

Hide AdNatalie Bettinson, community and events fundraiser at the Stroke Association, said: ‘The community really helped us to make this an event to remember and we’re delighted with the turnout and amount raised.
‘It was a great atmosphere and we’re very grateful to everyone for their support.
‘Our Step Out for Stroke events mark a milestone for many stroke survivors taking part and some truly inspirational people took their first steps since their stroke.
‘It was wonderful to have Kev Seed join us to open the walk.
‘Everyone who took part has helped to raise vital funds for people affected by stroke.’
People taking part raised more than £1,000 for the Stroke Association.
