Petersfield family fundraising to build sensory room

A FAMILY are hoping to raise £4,300 to build a sensory room for their daughter.

Marlowe Parker, aged 22-months, has spent most of her life in and out of hospital.

The toddler has Down Syndrome and had open-heart surgery when she was seven- months-old. She also spend 128 days on life support after contracting influenza B.

But now the toddler is developing well and thanks to help of the physiotherapy at Queen Alexandra Hospital, she is trying to crawl and sit-up.

Her family, from Petersfield, want to continue the physiotherapy at home but need £4,300 for the equipment.

Mum Clara said: ‘We are fundraising for the materials to build her a room with all the equipment and sensory toys to help her so she can continue to blow everyone away with her amazing progress.’
