Portsmouth CCG shortlisted for national award

Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group has been shortlisted in the clinical commissioning leadership category of the annual Healthcare Transformation Awards.

The CCG has been recognised for its ‘approach to clinical leadership talent management and succession planning’.

Dr Jim Hogan, the CCG’s chief clinical officer, said: ‘CCGs were introduced to lead transformations in their local healthcare system to improve health services. We have always sought, as the people who best know our patients, to put their interests first.’

The winner will be announced on June 29 at a ceremony in London.
