Obesity is a key factor in causing someone to develop Type 2 diabetes, liver disease, and cardiovascular disease including heart attacks and strokes.’

And she added: ‘We’re actively supporting the new Public Health England “One You” campaign in the city which is focused on helping adults to get healthier. By searching “One You” on portsmouth.gov.uk, people can find information to help them eat well and move more, including details of support that is available. We hope that Oliver’s story inspires others.’
