Portsmouth midwife nominated for award

Emily Lowes, who was nominated for last year’s The News Best of Health Awards, has been put forward for the Real World Parenting Awards.

She was described in her nomination as ‘truly amazing.’ The parent who nominated her added: ‘She really has reached her vocation in life and I know she will be an amazing midwife for years to come.’

Emily works at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, and will be graduating from her midwifery degree later this year.

The Real World Parenting Awards recognises people who go above and beyond to support new parents during the first year. The awards ceremony is in November.
