Three engines from Gosport Fire Station attended before helping to ‘wash the man down’ before he was taken to hospital by paramedics.

The government’s Health and Safety Executive were informed of the incident but are no longer looking into the matter. ‘HSE were informed of the incident by police, but we are not investigating,’ a spokesman said.

Police, who attended the scene and were also looking into the hazmat incident, have now confirmed they are no longer investigating.
