QA Hospital praised for its recent improvement

THE trust running Queen Alexandra Hospital has been praised for improving A&E.

NHS Improvement, which supports trusts in delivering safe and high-quality care, made its comments following a report published by the Care Quality Commission.

It showed A&E had made significant changes and gave a new rating of ‘requires improvement’ instead of ‘inadequate’.

Anne Eden, executive regional managing director in the south, said: ‘This is good news and recognises the hard work of staff at all levels who can be pleased with their achievement.’
