QA Hospital units receive award for cancer care
The haematology and oncology day units at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Queen Alexandra Hospital, has been awarded a Macmillan Quality Environment Mark.
Given by Macmillan Cancer Support, it assesses how well buildings, such as chemotherapy units, provide support and care to people affected by cancer.

Hide AdThe Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Councillor David Fuller, officially unveiled the new plaque. He said: ‘Staff are to be congratulated for the achievement of this marvellous award.
‘It’s a reflection of the dedication and care they provide to patients on a daily basis.’
