QA staff to help patients decorate walking frames

STAFF will help patients decorate their walking frames.

Teams from the medicine for older persons, rehabilitation and stroke wards at Queen Alexandra Hospital will be holding the workshops next week.

A study from an Essex care home found brightly coloured walking frames helped reduce patient falls by 60 per cent as they are less likely to forget them.

Staff at QA are holding the event on July 5 at 3pm.
